What would experts say regarding to Belly Dance?
This is the feminity ancestral dance by excellence. Practiced for decades in the Middle East and North Africa, where it was probably originated. Nowadays, it has become part of the pop culture in the western world.
I´m not an expert on Belly Dance. I´m just a begginer dancer, however I would say that it has highly contributed to my spirit growing as well as my own feminity development.
Almost 6 months after start serioulsy dancing I have realized the importance of belly dance in my life and the way is neverending.
The Conscience of Feminity and the development of both left and right side
In my personal experience, as well as the one of most of the women I know, the "left" or femail side is overdeveloped. Despite this issue, we have scarce conscience of the high potential of sensuality we have. On the other hand, the "right" side, the male side, is not often well developed. This is the side of the decision, the practicity and the self confidence. As long as women have conscience of the beauty of their bodies through belly dance and start experiment the inner magic that they all have inside. The sensuality arises spontaneously. The nature of the movements, with veils or drums, with classic or fusion in arab music, the esence of the dance itself awakes even the most hiden feeling of love and selfconfidence.
The Inner Changes
Powerful but delicate.......beautiful contrast and a hard challenge. Through some movements in belly dance I have learnt what my weaknesses in ordinary life are. These movements teach women how their relationship with the environment, other people and themselves is.
Lately I dance even better after some painful episodes in my life. Nobody could predict that these sad issues could help me to evaluate my life and discover what I really want. And most important, to release my spirit. Released my spirit, my body has also answered to the estimule. Now I can say I´m free in many aspects and my life keep changing everyday.
